Every year, July will be the month for the final of Astro Star Quest (formerly known as Astro Talent Quest)…why the name changed? probably because the competition not only aim to find young adult with talents, but to have the potential to become star, or even superstar!…
i have ben watching this every year, if I’m not mistaken, since 1999 (wow, ten years already)…I never skipped each year’s competition one…bcoz it is nice every year…
This year, very obvious that the males sang better than the females…and in Top 10, only 3 females are selected.
Now, even the Astro Wah Lai Toi hasn’t show the last two semifinals that will ends up with top 5 finalists, I have the list already..huh…

Out of the five, I prefer Kah Fai, he sang very pro in Cantonese songs, but never heard him singing Mandarin ones, he should try oso…Min sang until almost perfect too, she has been improving a lot lately, same goes to Alvin, the youngest, 18 years old only. Ryan, how come he is in here, honestly, he had not much ability here, same goes to Yoke.
Honestly, I felt that another guy, Justin should be in the final, I expected him to be in the final, or even in Top 3, because he sang pretty well, full of emotion, very smooth, and with own character. i wonder how he is eliminated…he usually got among the highest scores in every weekly competition, really curious about it…he is eliminated in Semifinal 3…
Or maybe they want it to be a little balance, can’t be four males, one female, so they decided three males, two females…anyway, a nice group of finalists too…The final will be held at Putra Stadium, Bukit Jalil on 25th July 2009…Gambateh to all of them!!!
